Life is a photo album filled with snapshots that only you can take.
With one year left of university, I’ve got my travel journal handy with all the places I want to see and experience, and trust me, there’s a lot!
My photography career started in elementary school with a Samsung zoom/film camera. I took pictures of everything and everyone. I was all about getting the full story of what I was doing; answering who, what, where, when, why. I’d go through the photos and realize that so much of the memory on the camera was wasted on useless shots: a receipt, a sign, a walkway.
Nearly 10 years later, I find myself not too far from where I started. I realize it’s because I’ve always just done things for the sake of getting them done; no real purpose or intention. It’s time to do more, and mean it.
Photography excites me – everything about it. From the landscapes I’ve seen, the fresh air I’ve breathed, and the people I’ve met – they’re all inspiring and all so different, with a story to share.
Stick around, and join me as I write stories from the world behind my camera.
